Take Care Of your children Education, Osun Deputy Gov Wife Urges Parents

The wife of Osun state deputy Governor, Mrs Titilola Alabi has described parents as the first line of defense in terms of advocacy for their families and children within the schools.
Mrs Alabi made this known in an interview with journalists during 2018 children end of the year party organized by the office of the wife of the Governor in collaboration with Ministry of Women, Children and Social affairs held in the government house , Osogbo.
She said “and the more that we can inform parents, the better they are equipped to address and challenge situations that they may think are not beneficial to their children.”
Mrs Alabi further said it’s critical that parents play a vital, active role in their children’s education.
According to the wife of the deputy Governor, “parents have a role to play in the education and proper upbringing of their children for a sound and sustainable human resource base and development.
“Parents should be educated about the significance of their role and how to play it”
“Parents should recognise that they are the first persons to take care of their children’s education,” she said
She advised the pupils not to indulge in social vices, which could affect their education and rather concentrate on their studies.
