2027: Osun APC West Stakeholders Back Adeleke-Led Tinubu Reelection Campaign
The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Osun West Senatorial District have pledged to work for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027 under the leadership of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, who is the coordinator of the President’s Campaign Council in the state.
The stakeholders also resolved to commence aggressive mobilisation across the district ahead of the 2027 general elections, while simultaneously preparing for the election of the party’s candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives and Osun State House of Assembly seats.
The resolutions were contained in a communique issued at the end of the Osun West Senatorial District APC stakeholders’ meeting held on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
The meeting, according to the communique signed by the district chairman, Hon. Akintola Omolaoye, expressed appreciation to party members for their continued commitment and contributions towards strengthening the APC in the district.
The stakeholders directed leaders of the three federal constituencies in Osun West to return to their respective areas and intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming elections, beginning with the presidential election.
They specifically reaffirmed their commitment to the re-election of Tinubu under the Osun Presidential Campaign Council coordinated by Adeleke, while urging party members to work collectively towards securing victory for the APC at all levels.
The communique stated that the district’s political structure would also be mobilised to ensure the success of the party’s candidates contesting for the National Assembly and state legislative seats.
As part of efforts to strengthen the campaign structure, the APC senatorial candidate for Osun West, Dr Akinade Ogunbiyi, announced the appointment of former lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Ambassador Bello Adejare, as Director-General of the APC Osun West Senatorial District Campaign Council.
The appointment, according to the communique, is expected to complement existing mobilisation structures and coordinate campaign activities for the senatorial and other elective positions in the district.
The stakeholders also passed a vote of confidence in the leadership of the APC in Osun State, expressing their readiness to work with the party leadership towards achieving electoral success.
They further commended party members for their loyalty and commitment, urging them to sustain the spirit of unity, cooperation and mobilisation as preparations for the elections gather momentum.
The meeting ended with a renewed call for collective efforts to strengthen the party’s structures and secure victory for President Tinubu and other APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
