‘He’s A Grassroots Mobilizer’ – Victor Badejo Lauds Adereti’s Choice As Oyebamiji’s Running Mate

An Ife-born chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Victor Badejo has commended the party’s leadership for their resolve to choose Engineer Benjamin Adereti as the running mate to the party’s flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State.

Addressing newsmen on Wednesday morning, Victor who is the founder of the Victor Badejo Foundation; a nongovernmental organization that empowers youth and assists the poor and vulnerable members of the society, described Engineer Adereti as grassroots mobilizer and a politician who is active and present particularly across Ife Federal Constituency.

“To me, the choice of Engineer Adereti is critically technical because we are challenging a sitting government and that is why we must be strategic like our leaders have shown so far. This is indeed a perfect combination.

“Adereti is a household name across Ife Federal Constituency and beyond, he nearly won as a Federal Lawmaker in the last election but we submit to the will of God on that. He’s a value addition to the AMBO ticket and our job in Ife has been made easier.”

Victor however called on all party stakeholders and leaders to swing into action, adding that residents and indigenes of Osun State cannot wait for the end of the current government at the state level which has underdeveloped the state despite huge resources and potentials of Osun.
