Igbajo Achievers Lions Club Supports Young Learners For Monthly Service Activity
The Igbajo Achievers Lions Club on Monday, 29th September 2025, carried out its September Monthly Service Activity at Baptist Day Primary School, Igbajo, in a demonstration of its continued commitment to humanitarian service and community development.
The Charity Club led by its President, Lion Yinka-Diamond Ishola, and the Club Service Chairperson, Lion Oluseyi Faniran, alongside other dedicated members, the Club donated vital educational materials including exercise books, pencils, biros, erasers, rulers, cases, and socks to pupils of the school. The gesture is aimed at preparing the children for a successful academic year.
Speaking at the presentation, Lion Yinka-Diamond Ishola commended the collective effort of members, noting that the project reflects the true spirit of service that defines Lions International. He added that education remains a key focus for the Club as it continues to impact lives in Igbajo and beyond.
On his part, the Service Chairperson, Lion Oluseyi Faniran, described the project as a timely intervention and appreciated members for rallying together to make it possible. He explained that the activity also serves as a prelude to the Club’s forthcoming Investiture and Project Fundraising Program, which will further position the Club to execute more impactful service initiatives.
The Headmistress of Baptist Day Primary School, Mrs. Adeitan Bankole, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Lions Club, stating that the intervention would not only relieve parents but also inspire pupils to take their studies more seriously.
