Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola @ 66: Mr Governor; You Have Certainly Earned Yourself A Place In History!

When our Principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu postulated during the build up to 2018 governorship election in the State of Osun at the palace of Ataoja of Osogbo that Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola was being brought to Osun governance to continue the good works of his predecessor; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and not to make money from the State, that the state has not gotten the kind of money that he (Tinubu) or Oyetola can steal, rather for the good of the state, the mischief makers twisted it and said Tinubu was talking blasphemies at the palace.

When our leader; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola mounted the podium during the governorship campaign and said Alhaji Isiaka Oyetola was part of his government actively for 8 years, he was part of all decisions and policies of government, he understood where we were as a State and he was in the best position to lead the state to an enviable height of social and economic development, the mischief makers were hissing at him.

When my humble self led the team of energetic, party loyalists and indeed patriots under the auspices of Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation Campaign Team for Oyetola; ACTO moving strategically day and night, from friends’ camps to enemies’ dens selling the manifesto and developmental agenda of our party and that of our governorship candidate then, the mischief makers were saying Adeboye Adebayo was looking for what to eat.

And few days to his birthday and few months to his two years in office, his administration through the State Ministry of Commerce in an economic developmental collaboration with the most serious, energetic and indeed no-room-for-failure investment partner; Akbeeb Investment Limited, gave us the most desired International Trade Centre, Dagbolu for an unprecedented economic leap that is coming to the state, the mischief makers, the opposition propagandists and indeed bad wishers have retreated and are currently looking for next political lies to put forth because the taking off of International Trade Centre have put them off balance.

International Trade Centre is your birthday gift you gave to us as a people and it is only good for us reciprocate your kind gesture by celebrating you today.

Mr Governor, you are a worthy ambassador to our Principal; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because you are representing well, even the oppositions know it.

Mr. Governor, you are a worthy successor to our revered Leader; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola because you continue the progressive dreams from where he successfully dropped the baton.

Mr. Governor, you are indeed a worthy leader to us; as party stalwarts and political supporters because your continuous sterling performances are making us feel good.

I am personally proud to be part of the struggle of your election, it was rigorous but I did not regret it because it paid off, going by your performances in the office and Words alone cannot express my joy that has assumed a gargantuan proportion.

All I can say in this time is “Happy Birthday Your Excellency”

I wish you many more years in good health & sound mind.

By many of your achievements in office, you have certainly earned your self a place in history!
