Osun First Lady Charges Students To Develop Life Skills Through Sports
…Says Osun Govt Will Ensure Better Livehood For Citizen
Wife of the Governor of Osun, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has described sports as an essential ingredient to sharpen the brain and the body.
According to the first lady, sport also help to tackle mental challenges facing human being and to put their body in good state of health
Mrs Oyetola stated this during the school for the special Needs 2019 inter House Spots Competition programme in Osogbo
The wife of the Governor who was accompanied to the programme by wives of political office holders and other female politicians charged the students of school for Special Needs to take their education with all the seriousness it deserves.
Mrs Oyetola further stressed that, the fact the students are participating in the sports does not hinder them from achieving academic goals in life.
She noted that students participating in sports would further enhance their physical capabilities, hence reduces thier physical challenges due to stress encounter during academic work in the class.
The wife of the Governor who appreciated the teachers and allied staff for their Commitment shown over the years to train the children Stated clearly that the only goal and mission of the present administration in Osun is to ensure better livehood for the people of the State without living anybody behind.
Earlier, the head teacher of school for persons with Special Needs, Mr Adeyemi appreciated the Universal Basic Education Board and the State government for their unflinching support in term of feeding and maintenance of the school over the years.
Highlight of the programme was presentation of trophy to blue House which came first in the Inter House Spot Competition programme.
