Egbedun Most Qualified For 8th Osun Assembly Speaker - Oyelola
A Public Affairs Analyst and Lecturer at Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, Oyewale Oyelola on Thursday stated that Hon Adewale Egbedun possesses academic credentials and political experience to lead the 8th Osun State House of Assembly.
Oyelola while speaking on DaimondFM Ilesa News Analysis program said the consensus among the Members-elect tilt towards emergence of Hon Adewale Egbedun from Odo-otin State Constituency in Osun Central Senatorial district.
According to him, Prince Adewale Egbedun had his education in Nigeria and United Kingdom. He is an Entrepreneur and a passionate driver of fast growing Agribusiness providing employment for Nigerians. The man is young, useful and already adding value to good governance.
“You know Governor Ademola Adeleke is from Osun West while the Deputy hails from Ile-Ife in Osun East. It’s therefore natural to pick the Speaker from Osun Central Senatorial district. Hon Adewale Egbedun is enjoying massive support among majority of members-elect. He is a committed, dedicated and loyal party man. I believe his emergence would be a win-win deal for ALL”. He explained
The Media Executive said Egbedun has been consistent in supporting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) agenda to rescue Osun State from 2017, noting that he is will a rally point when elected as Speaker.
Oyelola added that Governor Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke administration needs Assembly leadership that understand and share vision of accelerating the state development.
He therefore urged the Members-elect to support Hon Egbedun during their inauguration slated for June 6, 2023.
