Remi Tinubu, 7 Wives of Nigerian Governors, Emir of Ilorin, Others To Storm Ede For YPF Annual Ramadan Lecture
A sociocultural group, Yoruba Progressive Forum (YPF), Egbe Omo Yoruba Atata, has announced plans to host a Ramadan lecture on March 3, 2026, in Ede, Osun State.
The 2026 annual Ramadan lecture, titled “Prayer for Peace in Nigeria,” is scheduled to hold at 11:00 a.m. at Sanusi Event Hall, Admus Hotel, opposite Redeemer University, Akoda, Ede, Osun State.
In a statement signed by the group’s National Coordinator, Alhaji Lateef Olalekan popularly known as Asiri Ede, the programme will focus on spiritual reflection and national development, with the programme themed, “Building Society & Good Governance.”
Asiri Ede announced that the Nigeria President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the Chairman of the occasion while his wife, Nigerian First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu will be the mother of the day.
According to him, Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Alhaji Khamis Olatunde Badmus will be the father of the day, while Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, Osun APC Gubernatorial Candidate shall be the chief host.
He said Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is the royal father of the day while Timi Of Ede Land , Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal is the royal host.
Also expected as Royal Guests of Honour include His Imperial Majesty Abdul Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, Olubadan of Ibadanland, and His Imperial Majesty Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I, Oluwo of Iwoland and His Eminence, Alhaji Ibraheem Zulukenani Gambari, Emir of Ilorin.
At the programme where Alhaja Suwaibat Ibiyemi AbdulLateef is expected to be the guest lecturer, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola is the invited as special guest of honour.
Other special Guests of Honour are Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu (Lagos State First Lady), Mrs Oluwaseun Esther Aiyedatiwa (Ondo State First Lady), Chief Mrs Titilola Adebusola Adeleke (Osun State First Lady), Dr. Olufolake AbdulRazaq( Kwara State First Lady), Engr. Olufunke Makinde (Oyo State First Lady) Dr. Olayemi Jumoke Abiodun ( Ogun State First Lady) and Hajjia Seminar Usman Ododo ( Kogi State First Lady).

Also billed as Special Guests of Honour are Zacch Adedeji, Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and Her Excellency Alhaja Naimot Salako Oyedele, Deputy Governor of Ogun State.
The organiser called on Nigeria citizens on the need for collective responsibility in fostering peace and progress in Nigeria.
