Adeleke Hails Oluremi Tinubu at 66, Says First Lady Is ‘Mother Of All’

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has congratulated the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as an “inclusive nation builder” whose contributions to public service have impacted positively on the country.

Adeleke, in a congratulatory message issued on Monday by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, commended the First Lady for her years of service to the nation and her advocacy for inclusive governance and greater opportunities for women and young people.

The governor recalled Senator Tinubu’s years in the National Assembly, where, according to him, she played a significant role in promoting legislation aimed at empowering women and expanding opportunities for the younger generation.

He also recalled his working relationship with Tinubu during their years as members of the Senate, describing her contributions to public service as noteworthy.

“I join family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate a symbol of excellence, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the joyous occasion of her 66th birthday,” Adeleke said.

The governor described Tinubu as “a lawmaker per excellence,” saying she used her legislative experience to address what he described as past shortcomings while contributing to efforts to build a prosperous future for Nigerians.

Adeleke further praised the First Lady for what he described as her efforts to bring people together across political divides in pursuit of national development.

“As the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Tinubu has proven to be the mother of all, galvanising interests irrespective of the political divide towards the ultimate purpose of moving Nigeria forward,” he said.

The Osun governor added: “As a Senator, she was truly pan-Nigerian and as a First Lady, she is an excellent nation builder.”

He commended Tinubu for supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the discharge of his responsibilities, noting that her role had contributed to the administration’s efforts to pursue its development agenda.

“As she turns 66 today, I honour her life of incredible service and contributions, and more importantly, praise her for sharing in the burden of serving Nigerians with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and charting the course for Nigeria that will serve all,” Adeleke said.

The governor prayed to God to grant the First Lady many more years in good health and sound mind as she continues her public service and support for the President.
