Elites Club Of Aagba Organizes Entrepreneurship, Empowerment Workshop For Youths, To Hold Saturday
The Elites Club of Aagba, Boripe Local Government area of Osun state in partnership with Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS), an NGO is organising a one – day workshop on the “ENHANCEMENT OF ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS OF YOUNG ARTISANS IN AAGBA, COMMUNITY”
The workshop according to a statement signed by President of the socio-cultural group in the town, Otunba Obafemi Okediya and Chairman Local Organizing Committee of the programme, Mr Tunji Olasinde is designed to up-skill the participants in various skills and innovations such as; Fashion Designing, Carpentry, Plumbing, Tilling, Computer Typesetting, Welding and Fabrication, Interior Decoration, Mobile Phone Repairs etc.
The statement explains that “the workshop will impact the participants with requisite knowledge in National and Global Networking Links, Fundamentals of Marketing, Product Branding, Digital Technology Applications, Leadership Skills, Team Building and Business Proposal Writing, among others.”
The statement noted that the workshop would come up on Saturday 9th March, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Hall, Aagba,
Expected to grace the closing ceremony occasion as Chairman is Hon. Rasheed Aderibigbe, Honourable Commissioner for Home Affairs, while Hon. Bayo Ogungbangbe, the Honourable Commissioner for Cooperatives and Empowerment will serve as the Special Guest of Honoure, while Hon Soji Ajeigbe Commissioner for Government Affairs and Protocol is the Chief Host and His royal Majesty, Oba Rufus Olayinka Ogunwole Kuujosin1, the Alaagba of Aagba is the Royal Father of the Day.
One Hundred young artisans have been selected from diverse trades as participants for the workshop, which is part of the commitment of the Elites Club of Aagba to the social and economic development of the town which the Club had embarked upon since its inception in 2017.
