Osun Poll: APC Optimistic Of Victory At Supreme Court
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Osun State have expressed optimism that the impending governorship case at the supreme court will end in their favour.
At a post elections stakeholders meeting of the party, held at the Tinubu/Shetima campaign office, Osogbo, the apex body of the party prayed for a legal victory of the party at the supreme Court.
According to a communique signed by the Chairman, Igbimo-Agba Osun, Chief Engr. Sola Akinwumi, the stakeholders meeting was convened to x-ray the performance of the party in the last general elections with a view of proferring solutions to identified political pitfalls.
“The Stakeholders in their wisdom appreciated all loyal, committed and steadfast party members across the state for their unwavering support for the party even in the face of terrifying disposition of the ruling party, PDP in the state.
“The body further enjoined our party supporters to remain unmoved and courageous to ensure needed reactivation and restrengthening of the party from this point as we are looking forward for brighter expectation ahead.
“That our President-elect, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu is congratulated and he is enjoined to keep to his electoral promises as Nigerians are waiting for a New Nigeria.
“Finally, the body prays for a legal victory of our party in the impending Governorship election case of Osun State at the Supreme Court.”
