2027: Tinubu’s Re-election Will Promote National Unity, Osun Renewed Hope Coordinator Says

The Osun State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Oluomo Sunday Akere, has said the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election will strengthen national unity and guarantee greater benefits for Nigerians.

Akere stated this during a meeting with the leadership of the organisation held on Thursday in Osogbo, where he expressed confidence in Tinubu’s chances of securing a second term in office.

He attributed the growing acceptance of the President across the country to what he described as the enduring policies, programmes and developmental projects being implemented by the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration.

“President Tinubu’s re-election will further redefine and strengthen Nigeria’s unity while enhancing the country’s global standing through the laudable policies and projects being implemented by the APC-led government,” Akere said.

The former Osun State Commissioner for Information urged political stakeholders and supporters to set aside personal sentiments and work collectively towards ensuring Tinubu’s victory in 2027.

He also called for increased mobilisation across the South-West and other parts of the country to secure electoral victories for APC candidates in the forthcoming general election.

“We must maximise our support in the South-West and other parts of the nation to ensure President Tinubu’s victory in the coming elections. All hands must be on deck, and everyone must swing into action now,” he appealed.

Akere said Renewed Hope Ambassadors was working as a united family to consolidate support for the President nationwide, adding that the organisation had developed a people-oriented strategy to achieve its objectives.

“I can safely say that the leadership of Renewed Hope Ambassadors across Nigeria is already working towards achieving that. We are not leaving anything to chance in our determination to ensure that President Tinubu is re-elected to complete the good work he has started through his policies and programmes,” he stressed.

He expressed confidence that the objectives behind the establishment of Renewed Hope Ambassadors would be achieved, assuring that Nigerians, particularly vulnerable and less privileged citizens, would continue to benefit from government interventions at all levels.

The Osun coordinator also commended the Federal Government for its efforts to tackle insecurity across the country, urging Nigerians to support initiatives aimed at sustaining peace and stability.

He cautioned against violence, particularly during the forthcoming elections, stressing that political differences should not undermine peaceful coexistence.

“Peace is sweet in words and deeds. We must always strive to live peacefully with one another, eschew violence of any kind and promote peaceful conduct, especially during the coming elections. Elections should never be treated as a do-or-die affair,” Akere pleaded.
