BREAKING: Plateau Assembly Suspends All 17 LG Chairmen
Members of the Plateau state House of Assembly have suspended all the chairmen in the 17 Local Government Areas of the state
The House members suspended the LG bosses on Thursday during their plenary presided over by the Speaker, Abok Ayuba.
Their suspension followed a motion moved by the lawmaker representing Langtang North -North constituency, Pirfa Tyem,
The motion bothered on financial impropriety leveled against the LG officials through a petition to the House and communicate stop the lawmaker by the state Governor, Caleb Mutfwang,
Ayuba, who announced their suspension after the motion was passed, directed the council officials to handover all government properties in their possession to the Director of Personnel Management while investigation into the allegations against them commences
