Osun Assembly Chief Whip To Deliver This Year’s Annual Bisi Akande Symposium
The Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon Tunde OLATUNJI is to deliver the keynote speech of the maiden edition of the “Annual Bisi Akande Leadership Symposium”.
The symposium tagged “Visionary Leadership:A panacea to inclusive and Sustainable Development in Nigeria” is to hold at the Banquet Hall of the residence of the sage in IlaOrangun, Ila Local Government area of Osun State on Saturday,14th of January,2023.
According to a letter of invite signed by Mr Opeyemi Oye-Oke on behalf of the organizers and addressed to Hon OLATUNJI, the symposium which is to mark the 84th birthday of the former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande is an initiative to incubate next generation of leaders.
“The Symposium is a platform for young people to connect and engage in creating trans-
generational change in Nigeria alongside with an exceptional leader like you.”
The letter describes Hon OLATUNJI as an outstanding personality who should be replicated in hundreds of young Nigerians to propel the direction for an advanced country.
In a note to convey his acceptance to the organizers, the Chief Whip, Hon OLATUNJI submitted that a constant scholarly conversation around the leadership issue in Nigeria was apt, more importantly at the turn of global reality where all regions of the world crave for leaders that could make a big difference in the politics and economy.
Hon OLATUNJI who said he was humbled to be considered for assignment of such magnitude,involving a a phenomenal Leader like Baba Akande, thanked the organizers for the opportunity of the engagement to connect with other young great minds and builders of a better Nigeria.
