‘APC Did Not Win 2018 Governorship Election In Osun’ – Gov aspirant, Lasun Yusuf
Former Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuf, on Thursday said his party , All Progressives Congress (APC), didn’t win the 2018 Governorship election which brought Adegboyega Oyetola into office.
Lasun who alleged that his party did not win Gubernatorial election in 2018 said declared his intention to contest the coming 2022 Governorship election.
He declared that nobody “born of a woman” can stop him from contesting the 2022 governorship election in Osun State.
He was at the secretariat to purchase his Governorship expression of interest and nomination forms.
Lasun also revealed that the current Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, was compensated for his current office because of the role he played in the Osun APC primary.
He said, “Nobody born of a woman can do to me what they did to me in 2018. My party, the APC did not win the Osun State Governorship election.”
The former deputy speaker who contested but lost out to Oyetola, in the 2018 APC primaries, said this while speaking to the media at the APC National Secretariat, in Abuja, on Thursday.
