Opomulero Osun Congratulates New APC EXCO
The socio-political group Opomulero Osun has congratulated the newly Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC)’ executive committee that emerged at the Congress held at the Osogbo City Stadium on Saturday.
The group in a congratulatory message signed by Oluomo Sunday Akere, the Public Relations Officer, said the Congress was well and orderly organized.
“While we congratulate the State Congress Committee for a job weldone, we also commend the boldness of the National Congress Committee saddled with the responsibility of conducting the congress for the tenacity from the ward to state congresses. We agree with its position on parallel congress held in the state as being nothing but a political jamboree.
“Now that the Exco is in place, we will want the State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, the Elders caucus and the newly elected state executive committee to initiate genuine reconciliation with a view to uniting the party in the state ahead of the 2022 Governorship election.
“Opomulero also enjoined all party members with various grievances to explore dialogue in the general interest of the party and the development of the state.
“We believe strongly that the situation in the APC in Osun State called for reconciliation, healing of wounds and we call on concerned stakeholders to be part of the process that will further cement peace in order for the party to emerge stronger and more united for the task ahead.
“Finally, we want to commend the Leader of the party Gov. Adegboyega Oyetola for creating a level playing ground for all and sticking to his promise of putting in place a strong party that will assist in actualizing the dream of all lovers of peace and development.
