Nigeria At 61: AGF Felicitates With Nigerians, Urges Them To Keep Faith With The Country, Bola Tinubu
–Says the Foundation is Hibernately Restructuring
On the occasion of the 61st of Nigeria’s independence, the foremost Tinubu’s group, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, AGF has felicitated with Nigerians just as it urged them to keep faith with the country and its Principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released by its National Publicity Secretary; Comrade Adeboye Adebayo in Osogbo, State of Osun, the foundation commends Nigerians for their resilince, steadfastness, endurance and for keeping hope alive, says the country shall overcome the current predicament.
According to Adebayo, Nigeria, no doubt is passing through a very hopeless and critical stage, gasping with the menace of insecurities, economic downturn, joblessness, unsustainable jobs and indeed poverty of highest level but keeping a patriotic faith with the country will see us through the seemingly insurmountable challenges.
“No doubt our dear country Nigeria is currently undergoing a trying time when nothing seems to be working but for us at the AGF, we are of the strong opinion that this challenging phase will pass and our country shall be very, very great again” he said.
The statement read in part “Yes we have stared at our face challenges of insecurities, economic downturn, joblessness unsustainable jobs, poverty, corruption, poor currency and all failed indices of human life but we can together face all these challenges with committment, hard work, patriotic faith, prayers and hope and we will come out of it as a stronger nation where everything works”.
The Foundation also commends the Nigeria’s Armed Forces, the Police, Civil Defence Corps and all the political leaders for their efforts to make Nigeria stand and keep her head above water.
Adebayo said “AGF believes that at 61, there are indeed things to celebrate about, though our country is progressing at a snail speed but we are not stagnant, we are not waiting and with the support of all Nigerans and the renewed commitments of all leaders at all levels, we will celebrate better at no distant time.”
He then urged Nigerans to keep faith with the Foundation’s Principal as a major hope for Nigeria’s growth and development.
“We are also using this medium to call on all Nigerians home and abroad to keep faith with our Principal; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a major hope for the growth and development of our great nation. As we expect him back in the country soonest, We urge Nigerans to continue to pray for him because God has placed on him a tasky job to unite this country and make it great among the comity of nations in the World and we strongly believe he has the capacity to deliver on this God’s mandate with our support” Adebayo noted.
ON THE SILENCE OF AGF IN THE POLITY.
“It looks like we are silent in the AGF, no, we are not rather we hibernate to restructure, we are about to end our retreat, we were in retreat to appraise ourselves, to restructure, to reorganize and to reinvent our commitments towards our goal in working with our Principal; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve greatness and development in all facets of life for our country. We are formidable, we are Worldwide, we are big, we are great and indeed we are the foremost Tinubu’s group in the World and we cannot be relegated to the back end, no way! Hence, we will come out strongly and better before the year runs out” Adebayo noted.
