10th Anniversary: Patriotic Club Of Obaagun Begins Celebration, Pledges Unflinching Support For The Town

Sons and daughters of Obaagun in Ifelodun Local Council Development Area of Osun State have been enjoined to continue to contribute their unflinching support towards the development of the ancient community.

This was made known by the Patriotic Club of Obaagun (PATCO) in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen after a special meeting to herald the 10th Anniversary and Award of Excellence of the club jointly signed by Patriot Jamiu Ayotunde Lawal – President, Patriot Wale Atoba – General Secretary, Patriot Olayide IDOWU – LOC Chairman and Patriot Moshood Suleiman – LOC Secretary.

The statement said, it is imperative for every residents to join hands together for the rapid development of the community as government cannot be doing everything all the time.

According to the statement, “the PATCO will not relent in contributing it’s quota in all ramifications in uplifting the entire Obaagun community. We have been doing it and we will not relent”.

” Our government is trying towards the betterment of the entire citizens but we too should demonstrate our own unalloyed support and cooperation in developing our community”.

“Highlight of PATCO’s 10th anniversary is expected to commence on Wednesday December 2nd with Free medical Services, on Thursday, visit to Community Secondary Grammar School Obaagun for debate among the students and Scholarship for the best student, on Friday, Jumat service in Obaagun followed by Novelty match between PATCO Team and Obaagun United while the grand finale would be on Saturday with Award Presentation and Gala Night at Raphat College of Education Obaagun”.

Award of Pace Setter in Educational Development of Obaagun

2. Alhaji Taiwo Edunjobi- MD Edunjobi Bread Obaagun.
*Award of Excellence for Economic Improvement of Obaagun

3. Mrs. Olaitan Solayide Yetunde
Former Principal, Community Secondary Grammar School, OBAAGUN.
Award of Excellence as the Most Distinguished Principal in Obaagun

4. High Chief Tiamiyu Oladipo
Inurin of OBAAGUN
Award of Life Leadership for Community Development of Obaagun

5. Mr. Taye Bakare
Former Director FRCN
Award of Human Resources Development in Obaagun
This awards is exclusively opened to him because of the role he has played when he was in the service of FRCN. He was instrumental to the employment of five sons of OBAAGUN into the system and one of them is the *Current NUJ Chairman, Osun State Chapter. AJADOSU Wasiu
