Baptist Youths Converge on Kaduna for Annual Conference

Youths of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, NBC, under the aegis of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, today, Tuesday commenced their Annual Conference.

The 47th Annual Conference is holding at the Deeper Life Camp, Maraban Rido, Kaduna, Kaduna State with the theme, “Prepared to Conquer” and text is taken from Joshua 13:1.

The opening session which was moderated by the President, Deacon Habbakuk Ishaku witnessed opening medley/worship while Pastor Zakka Maiwada gave the welcome address and response from the Chairman, Western Zone.

The prayer session was led by Pastor Onajite Enunuaye. There was a drama presentation/cultural display by the Host Conference, Kaduna Baptist Conference.

The opening session reached its climax with the Theme Interpretation (Prepared to Conquer) by the Youth National Coordinator, Rev IbukunOluwa Joshua.

He spoke on how Joshua was prepared to conquer and how youths must prepare in this contemporary time and contemporary land to conquer.

He urged youths not to rest on their oars as there are more lands to conquer and encouraged youths to draw inspiration from Paul’s experience in Philippians 3:12-14.
