Dismissal Of Certificate Forgery Case:’Persecution Now Fully Exposed’-Senator Adeleke
Senator Nurudeen Ademola Adeleke has declared that the dismissal today of alleged certificate forgery case has finally exposed to the world his baseless persecutions by whom he described as ‘desperate political opponents!
Reacting to the Dismissal ruling of the Mpape Magistrate court where he was arraigned on a unfounded allegations of certificate forgery by the police in Abuja, Senator Adeleke recalled how he was hounded and thrown into detention over a baseless accusation of certificate forgery despite WAEC the issuer of the certificate’s presence on court to confirm the document, alleging that he was “a victim of a high profile blackmail and character assassination plot by persons afraid of his statewide political acceptance and influence. They then decided to go to any length chose to have him unjustly convicted by any willing and compromising court!!”
“The evil agenda was devilishly woven and executed to undermine my credibility, integrity, and entire personality as unsuitable to assume the governorship of my dear state. My persecutors infiltrated and hijacked state machinery to malign and tarnish my reputation. As a symbol of the usurped mandate, I was battered but still got vindicated by God!
“I was charged to different courts on the same false allegation of certificate forgery. The Court of Appeal ruled that I did not forge any certificate nor did I make a false declarations in INEC form CF001.”
“Now, the Magistrate court where I was arraigned in a gestapo-like manner has also cleared me. This persecution, abuse of state institutions and judicial reality must stop forthwith!!!”
“I thank God Almighty for not allowing the forces of darkness to turn day into night and establishing my innocence, I also thank all those who believed in my innocence and stood by me, praying with me as I went through this wilderness of persecution”
Commenting on the outcome of the case, counsel to Senator Adeleke, Prince Adebiyi Adetosoye described the judgement as “a vindication of the Innocent.”
He stated further; “The nation witnessed how my client was hounded and detained over this matter. From the beginning we were convinced this was an abuse of judicial processes. The same matter was filed in several courts simply to achieve predetermined outcomes! But we are gladdened by today’s ruling.” The counsel concluded.
