Osun APC Lawmaker Candidate, Prince Adetoyi Rejoices With Akande At 80

The All Progressives Congress APC candidate for Odo-Otin state constituency, Prince Adeyinka Micheal Adetoyi (AMA) has congratulated Chief Adebisi Akande on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

Prince Adetoyi in a press statement he personally signed and made available to CityMirrorNew in Okuku, the headquarters of Odo-Otin, Thursday
said the people of the constituency joined families and friends of the chieftain to honour and celebrate some of his grand achievements.

The lawmaker hopeful extolled Chief Akande for his wisdom, sacrifices, forthrightness, patriotism and astute leadership acumen; right from his days of service in the Old Oyo State.

“Chief Adebisi Akande, Baba Omo Kekeke himself, has continued to be a bridge between the present and the past with his enormous wealth of experience in public service as a true democrat which has been of immense benefit to many of us who are his political children”, Prince Adetoyi added.

He further said: “We had to depend on his wisdom and political sagacity in putting together parties of different orientations into one cohesive family that we are today.

“ We the people of Odo-Otin state constituency celebrate uncommon wisdom of Baba. Baba Bisi Akande has contributed immensely to the development of this state. At the time he was Governor he placed this state on a firm foundation administratively.”

“Chief Bisi Akande would be treasured for his statesmanship which cuts across party lines and has brought him to the forefront of national leadership.

“Papa turns 80 today, I wish him many more glorious years of selfless service to Osun and the country in general.” the release added.

He prayed that the Almighty God grant “Chief Akande longer life, more strength, increased wisdom and vitality as his experience is still direly needed especially as Nigeria and the State of Osun moves into another critical electioneering period.’’
