Oluwo Distributes Free Foodstuff Ahead Of 2026 Eid il Kabir Celebration
The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has distributed over 50 bags of rice to the aged people of the ancient city of Iwo.
Oba Akanbi, in his characteristic, visited aged men and women under their respective roof , not only to identify with them but also to donate foodstuff for their survival.
The distribution covered about 5 compounds including Odofin, Sobalohu, Omole, Opaba, Kajola and Oluponna.
He personally conducted the distribution to avoid discrimination and favouritism.
He said his desire is to take kingship to the doorsteps of aged men and women with no strength to walk and benefit from the free feeding in his palace.
He called on individual with financial wherewithal to extend generosity to those aged and men in their respective reach.
