Tinubu, APC Governors In Crucial Abuja Meeting
President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a meeting with governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting was first planned for 4 p.m. at the Council Chamber but started around 5 p.m. after it was moved to the President’s office conference room.
Some of the governors at the meeting include Babagana Zulum (Borno), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Peter Mbah (Enugu), and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara). A few states are being represented by their deputy governors.
The reason for the meeting has not yet been made public.
This meeting is coming shortly after Tinubu held a private meeting with Senate leaders on Wednesday.
According to Senate Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, important decisions were made on urgent national matters during that session.
