Osun Assembly Aspirant, Asiri Ede Meets APC Ward, Unit Chairmen, Seeks Support

Aspiring member of the Osun State House of Assembly for Ede South Constituency, Alhaji Abdullateef Olalekan popularly known as Asiri Ede, met with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Wards and Units Chairmen across his constituency to seek their support for his ambition

Addressing the chairmen during a meeting on Sunday, Asiri Ede, said that his decision to contest was driven by his long standing commitment to the party and his desire to serve the people of Ede South.

He noted that he has remained a dedicated member of the party over years, assured the chairman of his readiness to provide effective and responsible representation if given the opportunity.

“I have been part of this party for a long time and have made several contributions. I am here to formally inform you of my ambition and seek your support and prayers,” he said.

Asiri Ede also urged party members to continue to work for the emergence of the APC Gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji comes August 15, 2026.

He said if emerged victorious, Oyebamiji will deliver divided of democracy to every nooks and crannies of the state.

Speaking on behalf of the ward chairmen, Alhaji Rasheed Bello, commended Asiri Ede for his consistency and determination, describing him as a committed party member.

Similarly, Mr Olaniyan Taofeek Dada, speaking on behalf of the unit chairmen, praised him for his doggedness and loyalty to the party.

He also offered prayers for his success and expressed hope that he would emerge as the party candidate for the constituency.
