Renowned Islamic Scholar Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Passes Away

Renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, has passed away, his son, Sayyadi Ali Dahiru Usman Bauchi, confirmed on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters, Sayyadi Ali stated, “It is confirmed Sheikh has returned to his Creator. We are all from Allah and to Him we shall all return. It is time for Sheikh to rest. We thank Almighty Allah for sparing his life until this time. Sheikh’s life was well spent. Alhamdulillah.”

He added that he is currently in Madinah and could not confirm the final resting place of his father’s remains, saying it may be in either Abuja or Bauchi.

Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi was widely respected across Nigeria and beyond for his scholarship and contributions to Islamic education and spiritual guidance. Over the years, he mentored countless students and played a significant role in promoting peace and religious understanding.
