BREAKING: APC Wins 20 LGAs, PDP Takes Three In Rivers Council Polls
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared winner of 20 out of the 23 local government areas in Rivers State by the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) following Saturday’s Chairmanship and Councillorship elections.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured victory in the remaining three LGAs.
Among the councils clinched by the APC is Opobo-Nkoro, the Local Government Area of suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Delta APC endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori for re-election
RSIEC Chairman, Dr. Michael Odey, announced the results on Sunday at the commission’s headquarters in Port Harcourt.
