I’m No Longer Certain About Tying The Knot – Reekado Banks
Afrobeats singer Reekado Banks has made a U-turn on his marriage plans, stating that he’s no longer ready to settle down yet.
Two months ago, Reekado, in an interview on ‘The Esther Show’, said he was confident about tying the knot later this year, but now he’s having second thoughts.
“In my last interview, which was two months ago, I was pretty sure about my stance. I said I would get married later in the year, but now I’m in a very different place. So, I can’t say anything definite about getting married now. Back then, I was sure, but now I’m not,” he said.
Banks attributed this change of heart to personal growth and emotional development, rather than his music career.
“It has nothing to do with my music career. It’s about me and my emotional intelligence, which I’m still working on,” he explained.
The singer has been focused on his music career, signing with Mavin Records in 2014 and later becoming an independent artist in 2018.
