Reekado Banks Exposes ‘Demonic’ Music Boss Preying On Young Artistes
Afrobeats singer Reekado Banks has issued a stern warning to up-and-coming artists in the Nigerian music industry, cautioning them about a powerful music executive whom he described as “demonic” and exploitative.
Speaking during a recent appearance on The Esther Show, Reekado recounted troubling experiences—both personal and observed—regarding the unnamed industry figure who, he claimed, has a track record of sabotaging the careers of budding musicians.
“There is one big man in the music industry who is demonic and takes advantage of young talents. I have worked with him before. Other young artists have also worked with him,” Reekado said.
While refusing to name the individual directly, the singer insisted that the man in question “knows himself” and that his involvement in artists’ careers often leads to setbacks, controversies, and missed opportunities.
“Every artiste this man has worked with always ends up with some form of setback,” he added. “It will be nice to educate young artistes about this man so they don’t get wrapped up in his mess.”
