YPF Celebrates First Lady Oluremi Tinubu At 66

The National Coordinator of the Yoruba Progressives Forum (YPF), Alhaji Abdullateef Olalekan, popularly known as Asiri Ede, has congratulated the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 66th birthday.

Olalekan, in a congratulatory message, described the First Lady as a woman of distinction whose years of public service have been marked by commitment to the welfare of Nigerians and the development of the country.

The YPF National Coordinator commended Senator Tinubu for her contributions to public service, particularly during her years as a member of the National Assembly, where she participated in legislative activities focused on issues affecting women, children and young people.

According to him, her transition from the Senate to the role of First Lady has provided another platform for her to contribute to national development and support initiatives targeted at vulnerable and underserved members of society.

Olalekan said the First Lady’s efforts in promoting social inclusion, women empowerment and youth development deserved recognition, noting that such initiatives remained important to the nation’s development.

He said Senator Tinubu had also demonstrated commitment to promoting national unity by reaching across political, ethnic and social divides in her engagements as First Lady.

The YPF coordinator said the occasion provided an opportunity for Nigerians to appreciate the First Lady’s contributions while wishing her more years of purposeful service to the nation.

He also commended Senator Tinubu for her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the role of a supportive partner was important in the discharge of the responsibilities associated with national leadership.

Olalekan prayed that God would grant the First Lady continued good health, wisdom and strength to enable her sustain her humanitarian and public service activities in the years ahead.

He said, “On behalf of myself, the Yoruba Progressives Forum and our members across the country, I warmly congratulate our First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday. We celebrate her life, service and commitment to the Nigerian people, and pray that Almighty God grants her many more fruitful years in good health and fulfilment.”
