Odeyemi Explains why Police And Personalities Forum, PAPEF Was Established In Osun

An Obokun-born prince, who is the Osun State Coordinator of Police and Personalities Forum (PAPEF), Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, said the idea was birthed to help the security system.

Speaking ahead of the official handing over of another refurbished patrol vehicle to Osogbo Area Command of Osun police, Odeyemi said the security of lives and property is a collective effort.

According to him, PAPEF is in all divisions in Osun State. It is a gathering of personalities in the area where command is located.

Some of PAPEF past achievements include the renovation of B Division, Modakeke, refurbishing of C Division, Ile ife patrol vehicle, purchasing of new patrol vehicle for Dada Estate Division, Osogbo.

Others include renovation of Ila Division Area Commander’s Office (ongoing), renovation of A Division, Moore, Ile ife (Ongoing), refurbishment of A Division, Moore, Ile ife patrol vehicle and many more.

At the handing over event slated for Thursday, 16th December, 2021 at Adebimpe Event Hall, Osogbo, Odeyemi said the Special Adviser to Governor Oyetola on Security, CP Abiodun Ige (Rtd) will be Special Guest while Alhaji A. S. Afolabi (PAPEF Osogbo Area Command) is the Host.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode is the Chief Host.

Odeyemi, who is also the Assistant Secretary Xone X1 Stakeholders Forum, enjoined good people of the state to join PAPEF.
