Desist from any Activities Capable of Causing Mayhem, Olukoyi warns Youths

In a bid to complement the efforts of the Osun State government in fighting criminal activities in the state, the Olukoyi of Ikoyi land in Isokan Local Government Area of the state, Oba Yisau Bantale Otunla-Kodaolu, has warned youths in his community not to turn celebration of the annual carnival to a crisis event.
Oba Otunla gave this warning in a Press Statement personally issued and made available to Journalists after having a meeting with Olukoyi in Council in his palace on Tuesday.
According to Olukoyi, “youths in my domain should not embark on any carnival that will turn to clash; instead, they should be celebrating their carnival in front of their various houses as this would prevent them from fomenting trouble”.
The traditional ruler emphasized further that, “Although, my community, Ikoyi is identify with complete peace and tranquility and I don’t want anything that may tamper with the existing peace in the area, that is why I am warning the youths to desist from any act capable of causing mayhem”.
“Any youths that want to celebrate carnival should do so in their various compounds and not in the public street as they used to do before as this development will assist all and sundry in order to avert crisis”.
