Xmas:Fadahunsi Felicitates With Christians, Preaches Love

The Senator representing Osun East in the National Assembly, Senator Adenigba Fadahunsi has felicitated  with the Christian faithful on the special occasion of Christmas.

In a statement on Sunday in Osogbo by his Special Adviser Media, Sam Segun-Progress, the Senator says Christmas, which is marked to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, is a period for celebration and expression of love.

“This festival  celebrates the birth of the promised Saviour , and the essence of love, tolerance and forgiveness,which are the essence of Christianity “

According to him,” Jesus was not just a Saviour but an example of love,forgiveness, peace,tolerance and compassion.”
 
The lawmaker also used the mood of the season to solicit for prayers from Christian faithful  and all Nigerians concerning the success of the 2023 general elections.

The statement further says;As the country is getting ready for the general elections, it is imperative for Nigerians to eschew any form of violence and acts that could undermine the peaceful conduct of the polls.

“We pray to God that the blessings and lessons of Christmas will spread all through Osun East Senatorial district,our dear state and the entire Nation as a whole.

Senator Fadahunsi equally urges Nigerians to emulate Christ by choosing love over hate and selflessness over greed.The essence of this season will be a waste if all Christian faithful refuse to live in love,irrespective of religion,tribe or race,the statement added.
