Tinubu/Shettima: PCC Parliamentarians Directorate Holds Its Inaugural Meeting Tomorrow
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Parliamentarians Directorate, South-West zone will hold its inaugural meeting tomorrow, November 18, 2022.
The first meeting of PCC Parliamentarians Directorate according to a statement jointly signed by Hon Kazeem Adedeji and Hon Rotimi Makinde on behalf of the directorate will be held in Lagos tomorrow, Friday the 18th of November,2022.
The statement added that the meeting will commence at exactly 10:00am at No.15 Adeyemo Alakija, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
The group, Parliamentarian Committee of the South West according to the release is conceived by the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and it’s saddled with the task of galvanizing all parliamentarians(former and current) of the 6 states in the southwestern part of the country with a sole objective, to wit, to ensure that they all deliver on the mandate of the committee in ensuring the victory of Asiwaju/Shetima ticket in all legislative constituencies across South West come February 2023.
According to the statement, “parliamentarians being closest to the grassroots and with wide and deep knowledge of their various constituencies are eminently placed in the art of strategic grassroot mobilization and how best to win election”.
In this regard, the inaugural meeting shall explore means and strategies towards reaching out to all parliamentarians and members of our party in SW as a region, be it at national, state or local government levels.
“The kick off of this event scheduled for November 18th, 2022 shall be under the leadership of the former speaker of the federal house of representative, Rt Hon Olubunmi Etteh CFR and Sen Ganiyu Solomon”, the statement reads.
