HoR Candidate, Abosede Ogo-Oluwa Convinced Us To Join APC–Orolu PDP Decampees

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Orolu local government, yesterday, experienced political hurricane as no fewer than 400 members of the party defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifon Osun.

Members of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) who decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) said that the person who convinced and masterminded their decamp was the party House of Representatives Candidate, Hon Abosede Ogo-Oluwa.

Speaking on behalf of defectors, Alhaji Muili Awolu who led hundreds of PDP Decampees explained that their decision to join APC was as a result of the House of Representatives Candidate, Hon Abosede Ogo-Oluwa, who spoke to convince them and has been doing everything humanly possible to better the lives of the people of Orolu and other communities using her personal money, coupled with the unprecedented developmental projects done by Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his leadership quality motivated them to join the APC”.

“It is unusual in Orolu politics for a person who has not been voted for to be using her personal money to empower her constituents, while those that have been given the opportunities are busy keeping the money for their personal use, infact, Hon Abosede Ogo-Oluwa has been doing very well, she deserves commendation”, Alh Awolu explained.

“We were impressed by the unusual performance and activities of Hon Abosede Ogo-Oluwa and the quality of the unprecedented empowerment programmes she has been doing to make life easier and better for widows, people living with disabilities, aged citizens and less privileged people”.

While speaking, Governor Gboyega Oyetola commended the House of representatives Candidate, Hon Abosede Ogo-Oluwa for working assiduously for the success of the party, assuring that all the defectors would be given fair and equitable treatment like those already in the party, APC.

Also speaking, the APC state party Chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun explained that if Governor Gboyega Oyetola had not been judiciously utilize the resources of the state for the benefit of all and sundry and if the MHR hopeful, Abosede Ogo-Oluwa has not been complementing the effort of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, there would not have been this strong convinction to join the APC by the PDP defectors.

Orolu local government Caretaker Chairman, Prince Adekunle Benson eulogized the MHR hopeful, Abosede Ogo-Oluwa, explained that her activities and programmes are commendable, maintained that, if the MHR hopeful is elected, entire people of Osogbo Federal Constituency will experience unusual developments.

Abosede Ogo-Oluwa who sponsored a popular Musician, Alh Abass Akande Obesere to entertain party members and supporters, explained that with hundreds of defectors coming to the APC, it means that come July 16, the PDP will be injuriously defeated.

Abosede Ogo-Oluwa urged those that have not collected their PVC to go and collect them and vote for Governor Gboyega Oyetola in the July 16 governorship election for unprecedented developmental projects to be experienced by all and sundry in the state of Osun.

Alhaji Muili Awolu, Mrs Oyewale Alirat, Mr Oyewusi and Mr Kamo Oloko led hundreds of other defectors to the APC.
