PDP Chair, Ayu Won’t Take Side In Osun leadership Tussle – Alan Agho
The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr Iyorchia Ayu is doing everything possible to resolve the impasse in Osun State and will not take side in the tussle, an aide to the chairman has confirmed.
Mr Alan Agbo, an aide to the National Chairman stated this in a telephone conversation while reacting to a release purportedly issued by the chairman’s side.
He rebutted the release and clarified that the statement doesn’t emanate from him or any other authorised aide of the party leader.
He thereafter maintained that the chairman and other top members of the party are on Christmas holidays with their respective families and that the National Chairman of the party could not have spoken through a nameless aide.
He expressed concerns about the ongoing development in Osun PDP and confirmed that it was a matter that will be treated urgently once the holidays are over.
He warned that the National Chairman should not be dragged into needless controversies and
