APC Didn’t Win 2018 Guber Election In Osun – Lasun Yussuf Alleges, Says Nobody Can Stop His 2022 Gov Ambition
Former Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuf, on Thursday declared that nobody “born of a woman” can stop him from contesting the 2022 governorship election in Osun State.
Lasun also alleged that his party, the All Progressives Congress, didn’t win the 2018 governorship election which brought Adegboyega Oyetola into office.
He said, “Nobody born of a woman can do to me what they did to me in 2018. My party, the APC did not win the Osun State Governorship election.”
The former deputy speaker who contested but lost out to Oyetola, in the 2018 APC primaries, said this while speaking to the media at the APC National Secretariat, in Abuja, on Thursday.
He was at the secretariat to purchase his Governorship expression of interest and nomination forms.
Lasun also revealed that the current Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, was compensated for his current office because of the role he played in the Osun APC primary.
