Osun Speaker, Owoeye Commiserates With Gbotoso Family Over The Death Of Former Deputy Speaker
The Speaker, State of Osun House of Assembly, RT Hon. Timothy Owoeye has described the death of Hon. Gbotoso Oladipo as a great loss to the Gbotoso family, Ilesa East local government and the entire Ijesaland.
The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kunle Alabi to commiserate with the family, friends and associates of the former Deputy Speaker of the State of Osun House of Assembly who died on Sunday 19th September 2021 admonishes them to take heart over the loss.
Hon. Gbotosho Moses Oladipo was the Deputy Speaker of the second Assembly of Osun House of Assembly (June 1999 – June 2003) when Rt. Hon. Alabi Mojeed Olujinmi was the Speaker and Hon. Bello Rafiu Adejare was the Minority Leader.
Owoeye held that the death of one of the pillars of support for Ilesa East Local Government of All Progressives Congress (APC) has shown the greatness of God Almighty who has ultimate control over life and death.
He stated, “The death of Baba Gbotoso is a big loss to the Progressive family in Ilesa East Local Government and the entire Ijesaland. My heart felt condolences at this point goes to the children and close associates of late Baba Gbotoso.
“I received the news of the death of Baba even at old age with pain but with submission to the will of Almighty God which can not be questioned by mortals.
“This is a sad moment for the Gbotoso family, I share in your grief, we should however be grateful to God that Baba led an impactful live.
“I commiserate with his immediate family, the children left behind. I pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss”. The Speaker stressed.
