Teacher’s Recruitment: Osun To Begin Proficiency Oral Interview
Arrangements have been concluded for the proficiency (oral) interview stage of the ongoing Osun Teacher’s Recruitment exercise into public primary and secondary schools across the State.
According to a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and made available CityMirrorNews in Osogbo, Mrs Kehinde Olaniyan, the interview which will be in two stages will commence on Monday, 17th, May 2021 at different designated centers in Osogbo.
According to Mrs Olaniyan, applicants for the senior secondary school recruitment who scored 40% and above with their first degree or NCE will be interviewed between Monday 17th May and Thursday, 3rd June 2021 while candidates with the maximum qualification of NCE, who scored between 35% and 39%, will have theirs between Monday, 7th June and Thursday, 24th June, 2021
The statement therefore advised all candidates to be at the designated venues with the following relevant educational qualifications among other requirements like Degree Certificate, NYSC Certificate, PGDE Certificate, NCE or TRCN Certificate (where available).
Other documents to be brought along by applicants include: Basic Education Certificate (JSS 3 Certificate), Local Government of Origin Attestation, Birth Certificate or Court Declaration of Age and One of either National Identification Card (Driver’s License, Voter’s Card, International Passport e.t.c.
The statement also adds that candidates will be communicated on time stating date and center through SMS on their phones.
They are advised therefore to check their portals regularly.
In the meantime members of the public have been advised to disregard an earlier Public Announcement on the Teachers Recruitment Exercise as it did not emanate from the Ministry of Education.
