Why We’re Partnering With Ondo Govt To Empower Entrepreneurs-Klick Konnect

As parts of its palliative measures being put in place in order to support the Ondo state government on the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the management of the Klick Konnect Networks International Limited, at the weekend said it has concluded arrangements to empower not less than 300 women in trade across all political wards of the state.
Besides, the company and the investors at the Ondo-Linyi industrial hub in conjunction with the office of the Special Assistant to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Cooperatives said it is ready also to empower 15,000 farmers through cassava farming.
A statement made available to journalists in Akure by the Head, Business Development, Klick Konnect Networks, Mr Dusin Oluwasuji posited that these initiatives will go a long way in order to put women in their many hundreds to work in rural areas.
According to him, the initiatives would also make food more affordable for the people of the state in the remote rural areas, aiding the state’s economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It should be emphasized that about 3 months ago, Klick Konnect and partners selected 100 youths from all the Local Government Areas of Ondo State for skill acquisition programmes at Africa College of Agriculture, Vocational and Technical Studies, ACAVATS Akure.
“Some of them have acquired skills and will in good time, be gainfully engaged in profitable ventures and beneficial partnerships across the state.
“Next steps on the new empowerment will be communicated after potential beneficiaries are screened.”
