Police Arraign Man For allegedly Stealing Pumping Machine In Osun

A 20-year-old man ,Rahssed Hammed has been dragged before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing pumping machine.
Police Prosecutor, Olayiwola Rasaq told the court that the accused person committed the offence on November 15, 2019, at Owode-Ilesa road , Osogbo.
He said the stolen item valued at N20,000 is the property of one AbdulWakeel Hammed.
The alleged offence according to the Prosecutor was contrary to and punishable under the Section 390(9) and of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun state of Nigeria, 2002.
But, the suspect pleaded not guilty to the allegation slammed against him.
Defence Counsel, kobie Najite applied for the bail of the accused person in must liberal term.
Najite who said that his client would not jump bail if granted promised that reliable sureties would stand for the accused person.
In her ruling, Magistrate Risikat Olayemi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N10,000 with one surety in the like sum
She thereafter, adjourned the case till 23rd of December, 2019 for mention.
