Osun SDP Chieftain, Yemisi Oladeji Laments Bad Road Network Around Dada Estate In Osogbo

A chieftain of Social Democratic Party, (SDP) and governorship aspirant on the platform of the party in the 2018 gubernatorial poll, Otunba Yemisi Oladeji has complained about terrible road network around his residence located at Dada Estate area of Osogbo metropolis.
He said the giant strides of Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s administration, since assumption of office could not be said to be complete without it’s presence in the oldest estate in the town.
According to Oladeji, residents of the area have been in turmoil for many years over the deplorable condition of roads leading to the estate and adjourning streets.
He called on the government in the state to consider the area for total road rehabilitation and construction of new ones with quality drainage system to make it durable .
He maintained that the condition of road network in the estate has been a source of worry for house owners within the community as well as a bane to economic activities .
He however commended the governor for taking cognizance of workers’ welfare and infrastructural development, saying he has hit the ground running like a leader.
“In as much as I laud the level of leadership and alacrity to deliver on campaign promises displayed by the incumbent governor of Osun state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, I want to say that neglecting the oldest estate in Osogbo is a fundamental error.
“Roads around the area have remained a nightmare for residents and landlords alike; it indeed a big trauma for us as landlords especially.
“The security and economic effects of those bad roads are enormous and huge, that is why I am calling on Mr Governor to come to our aid and make us feel the impact of his strategic move.
“I believe the estate, being the oldest estate in the town deserves special and utmost attention “, he said.
