Breaking: Lalong Sworn-in as Plateau Governor for Second Term
Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has been sworn-in as governor of Plateau state for the second term.
He took the oath of office exactly 12:52pm local time.
He thereafter appended his signature with red biro.
Lalong defeated his arch-rival, the candidate of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, General Jeremiah Useni (Rtd) in the last governorship election with almost fifty thousand votes.
