Again, Unknown Gumen Killed 6 in Riyom Attack

Six people have been killed in an unknown gunmen attack on the house of Gyang Dachung of Nakai Danwal village in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau state.
According to the police, all the corpses have been buried according to their traditional rites by their relatives.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Plateau State Command, DSP Tyopev Matthias Terna in a press release today, Monday stated that the attack was reported by the youth leader in the village, Mr Dalyop Boyi.
He noted that the photographs of the corpses was taken before being released to the corpses were released to their relatives on demand.
He solicited for the support of the public in providing credible information that would lead to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.
“On the 28/05/2019 at about 0600hrs one Dalyop Boyi ‘m’ the Youth Leader of Nakai Danwal village in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State reported to the Plateau State Police Command that at about 1900hrs, unknown gunmen attacked the house of Gyang Dachung ‘m’ of Nakai Danwal village, as a result, six persons lost their lives.” The statement said.
He said that the Deputy Commissioner of Police Department of Operations, Plateau State Command, Jos visited the scene and and police patrol of the area has been intensified in order to discourage any reprisal.
Riyom Local Government Area has been severally attacked and it has been attacked for more than five times in 2019 alone.
