Breaking: Gunshots, Houses in Flames in Renewed Jos Violence

There are heavy gunshots as houses around Restoration Family Church in Rikkos junction, Jos North Local government Area of Plateau state are set ablaze in renewed violence in the state.
The violence erupted around 11 am today, Sunday as a corpse was discovered around the area.
Affected areas include Rikkos, Dutse Uku, and Bauchi Ring Road, all in Jos, the state capital.
CityMirrorNews gathered that the corpse discovered earlier caused the ongoing violence.
Meanwhile, security agents have been deployed to the area to maintain peace although, there’s no official statement from both the government and the police.
However, residents in the area have complained about the biases and unprofessional attitude of some security agents.
An eyewitness who preferred anonymity alleged that security agents drafted were shooting at youths who were protecting their homes from attacks.
He said that “they have clearly taken side because they are protecting the other side to attack us”.
The violence disrupted some Church services today as many Churches abruptly ended their services.
