RePEc Ranks NACETEM Researcher 6th Among The Top 25% Economists In Nigeria
RePEc, an initiative for open bibliographies in Economics, in its latest ranking in December 2018, ranked Dr. Abiodun Egbetokun, the Head, Science Policy and Innovation Studies Department of the National Centre for Technology Management, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, 6th among the top 25% economists in Nigeria.
The Economists assessed are from various institutions such as Centre for Econometric and Allied Research, University of Ibadan, Department of Economics, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Department of Economics, University of Ibadan, Turgot Centre for Economics and Policy Research, Abuja, Lagos Business School, Central Bank of Nigeria, among others.
Dr Egbetokun is a Research professional who obtained PhD at the Friedrich-Schiller University, Jena, Germany.
His research focus includes innovation systems; absorptive capacity, learning and innovation in inter-firm networks; entrepreneurship; Science and Technology Indicators, among others.
He co-edited ‘Innovation Systems and Capabilities in Developing Regions’RePEc usually premises its rankings on journal articles, working papers and software components that are indexed in RePEc.
The citation ranks are updated daily and cover all items according to several ways of counting citations.
This latest ranking is an attestation to the quality of researchers at the National Centre for Technology Management, an Agency of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, established to provide critical knowledge support in the area of science, technology and innovation Management.
