French Embassy Denies NFF Officials, Super Eagles player Visa for Friendly Match

The  French Embassy has reportedly denied officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and a Nigerian player of visas few days to two friendly matches scheduled to hold this month.

Nigerian players were scheduled to play Mali in Rouen, France on May 27, before taking on Luxembourg on June 1.

The NFF officials who were denied entry visas include two coaches, administrative officials of the team and a home based players.

General Secretary of the NFF, Alhaji Mohammed Sanusi said: “We are appealing to the Embassy of France in Nigeria to reconsider its stance and issue visas to these officials.

“They are going to Europe for very important assignments as the two matches are key to the preparation of the Super Eagles for future engagements.”
