Osun N-power Volunteer Dies After Brief Illness
Mr Abdul Lateef Hamzat, a volunteer in the N-power programme in Osun State is dead.
The Osun N-power volunteers’ Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr Gbogboade Akande made the disclosure in a statement he made available to CityMirrorNews in Osogbo on Sunday, July 30.
He said Hamzat died on Friday in Ikirun after a brief illness.
The deceased until his death was attached to Holy Michael Middle School 1, Ikirun, Ifelodun Local government area of Osun State.
The statement reads “On behalf of the N-power state focal person, Hon. Idiat Babalola, we regret to announced the death of one of our dear co-volunteer, Alfa Abdul Lateef Hamzat.
“Until his death, he was attached to Holy Michael Middle School 1 in Ikirun, state of Osun. Unfortunately enough he just got paid for once after serving for more than seven months.
“A delegation will be sent as soon as possible to condole with his family. I pray to Almighty God to not let us witness such again. Adieu Alfa”
