In celebration of Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Alhaji Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola 70th birthday, Ilerioluwa APC in Osogbo Local Government is set to empower over 200 women with a microfinance fund aimed at boosting their businesses. The event which hold on Saturday 28th September, 2024 at Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Office Ogo-oluwa Osogbo by 11:00am. This initiative underscores a commitment to women's economic empowerment and community development, aligning with the values Oyetola has promoted throughout his leadership. Over 200 women will receive microfinance funds to boost their businesses, promoting financial inclusion and entrepreneurship in the region. The fund will provide vital resources and support, helping women enhance their entrepreneurial skills and improve their livelihoods. As a former governor, Oyetola has been instrumental in shaping Osun State's economy and politics. His tenure saw significant developments in infrastructure, education, and healthcare. This empowerment program aligns with his administration's focus on uplifting the community, particularly women. The microfinance initiative will provide women with access to financial resources, enabling them to grow their businesses and improve their economic stability. The former Special Adviser on Youth and Sports, Hon. Aremo Lateef Adegboyega Adelabu, has congratulated the Minister of Interior and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, on his 71st birthday anniversary.

Adelabu, in a congratulatory message , signed and made available to journalists in Osogbo, on Monday, said the celebrant has demonstrated uncommon commitment to good governance, peace, and the welfare of the people.

According to Adelabu , Oyetola’s tenure has the governor of Osun was defined by prudence, inclusiveness, and integrity—values that continue to guide those who served under his leadership.

He said: “I, Aremo Lateef Adegboyega Adelabu, former Special Adviser on Youth and Sports in Osun State, extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, immediate past Governor of Osun State and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, as he marks his 71st birthday today.
