Breaking: Gunmen kill Six Police Officers ,Two Hook-up Girls In Abakaliki

Six police officers and two hook-up girls were in the early morning of Friday massacred by suspected gunmen in Abakaliki the Ebonyi state capital.

Findings revealed that the incident occured at about 5.30 am in the morning at Hilltop check-point in the city.

A resident of a Gas station (close to the scene of the incident) who preferred anonymity, disclosed that the gunmen on sighting the officers opened fire on them.

The source confirmed that two girls suspected to be run-girls were equally killed by stray bullets

Efforts made to get the reaction of the State Police Public Relations Officer Joshua Ukandu proved abortive, as he refused to pick several telephone calls placed to him.

It would be noted that a fortnight ago, similar incident occured at the same location where some officers were killed by fleeing gunmen.
