Osun Monarch Sues For Peace, Praises Aregbesola’s Commitment to Good Governance
A traditional ruler in Osun State, the Olu of Aduramigba in Egbedore South Council Area of the state, Oba Emmanuel Babatunde Abidogun has urged Nigerians to embrace peace to enable the country to move forward.
Oba Abidogun who gave the advise over the weekend at his palace enjoined political leaders to discharge their duties diligently for the good of all.
The Monarch, who urged Nigerians to embrace peace and religious tolerance to move the country forward, saying the nation desired peaceful co-existence among citizens, to overcome the current problems facing the country.
“When you have peace, every other thing will fall in place and the country will be better for us,” he said.
Oba Abidogun, who enjoined Nigerians to continue to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, to enable him meet the expectations of Nigerians also admonished people to continue to pray for the success of their newly created local government, the Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s led administration in the state and the nation in general.
The Olu of Aduramigba commended the state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for his people oriented programs to the people of the state and for the developmental activities at the Aduramigba Community such as provision of adequate drinkable water and electricity assures the governor of the residents unalloyed support to his administration.
Oba Abidogun, used the medium to appeal to the state government to also come to the aid of the Community on the damage of the culvert that links the entire Aduramigba Community with Okinni saying the culvert has separated the community with others as motorists cannot drive beyond the damaged culvert due to its level of damage.
The Olu of Aduramigba, further lauded the Project Coordinator, Osun Rural Access and Mobility Project
(RAMP II), Engr. Adelere Oriolowo for including Aduramigba Community in their Project Map to be executed for the year.
The Monarch, however admonished the residents to continue to be law abiding and love each other for the betterment of the community while thanking them for their love to him.
